The WI/IL Cycling Association is your gateway to competitive grass-roots bicycle racing across Wisconsin and Illinois for riders of all skill levels and ages. The WI/IL Cycling Association looks to foster a vibrant and friendly cycling community through a race program that includes:

Mid America Time Trial Series (MATTS) – is a full schedule of 19 time trials throughout Illinois and southern Wisconsin that allow you to test yourself against the clock – “The Race of Truth”. MATTS features a variety of courses (flat, hill climb, gravel), distances (4K – 50K), formats (Individual, 2-person team and pursuit style on the track) and bike types (road and TT). Awards are presented based on your performance in individual events and you are given points toward a season long MATTS competition and the Rider of the Year. The American Bicycle Racing (ABR) Illinois, Regional and National Time Trial Championships are all part of the series.

Tour of Illinois/Wisconsin (ToIL/WI) – a series of criteriums and road races that allow you to experience the thrill of pack racing on beginner friendly courses throughout Illinois. We offer categories for all skill levels and ages. Awards are presented based upon your performance in individual events and you are given points toward a season long ToIL/WI competition and the Rider of the Year. The ABR Illinois State Road Race Championship is part of the series as are the Memorial Day and Fall Fling Omniums – multi race mini “tours” that include TTs, Criteriums and Road Races.

Wisconsin/Illinois Rider of the Year (ROTY) – a season long competition which recognizes the top riders for points earned across both MATTS and ToIL/WI.
The WI/IL Cycling Association does this with the support of a dedicated and experienced team of clubs, volunteers and race promoters.

All of the WI/IL Cycling Association events are sanctioned by American Bicycle Racing (ABR) which provides expert guidance, experienced officials, and insurance.
